Eunice was born near Grenfell, January 24th, 1931. The family moved to Rocanville when she was young. She attended school in Rocanville. Eunice helped on the farm from a very young age. When she finished school, she worked in Winnipeg as a nanny for a family.

She met Lloyd at a skating party at the Kawalle farm. They married on May 26th, 1953. After a honeymoon in Niagara Falls, they settled on the farm. They kept busy raising two children and farming. Eunice loved gardening. She particularly loved her flowers and watching the hummingbirds.

When the grandchildren started arriving, they loved to have them around. They would follow the sports they played, especially hockey.

Dad and Mom loved going to Jan Lake to fish, and would pack up the camper and boat and head north a couple of times in the summer. Mom took up quilting later in life. Each grandchild has at least one of her quilts.

When Dad's health was failing, and he was hospitalized, Mom moved into Moosomin, and resided there until her passing.

Eunice was predeceased by her parents, Bruno and Wanda Kawalle, her sister Hilda, brother-in-law Alfred Gessell, sister Freida, Brother-in-law Harold Kempin, and her husband Lloyd.

She is survived by her children: Judi Bayless (Ken), and Cliff (Myrna), her grandchildren: Kimberly (Clint), Rory (Angela), Rian (Nicole), Jordan (Colette), Jason (Becca), Joey, her Great-grandchildren: Griffin, Forrest and Korrie Bayless, and Koren Dobson.
