Bonnie Jean Turner, 67, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the South East Integrated Care Centre in Moosomin.

She was born on December 8, 1945 in Esterhazy, to Lorne and Alma Hewgill.

Bonnie grew up in Rocanville. After graduating from Rocanville High School, she completed training in Regina as a hairdresser, receiving her certification in 1964. Bonnie was employed in a variety of occupations; however her passion was being an Avon consultant.

Bonnie married Kenneth Turner in 1974 in Rocanville. They were happily married for 27 years.

As an active member of the community, Bonnie was involved in CGIT, Lioness, the community calendar, United Church choir, Rocanville Senior Tigers Hockey and Rocanville Fire Department. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, traveling and spending time at the casino.

Bonnie is survived by her mother Alma; step-sister Sylvia (Ralph) Frankson; niece Lesley (Matthew) Hollie; and nephew Richard (Judy) Frankson.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Kenny; her father Lorne; and by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Marie Hall.

A funeral service was held at St. Paul's United Church, Rocanville at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013. with Rev. Delta Kelly officiating. Interment took place at Webster Cemetery following the service. Luncheon following the interment was provided by the United Church Ladies.
