It is with great sadness that the family of Irma Grace Kryluk announce her passing on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Irma was born on June 9, 1926 to David (DL) and Della Wilson on a small farm in the Carnoustie District in Saskatchewan.

After graduating high school, Irma attended secretarial school in Regina. Soon after, Irma found her way to Fort William, Ontario via her cousin Vince Hogg. She met her future husband Vic when she attended one of his Fort William Beavers hockey games. They were married on November 6, 1954. Irma and Vic enjoyed travelling and saw many parts of the world throughout their 64 years of marriage.

Irma’s career with the Lakehead Board of Education spanned 24 years.

Irma is survived by her husband Vic. Also left to celebrate her life, are her two daughters Cheryl and Kelly (Lyn) and her son Craig (Linda). Grandchildren Michael (Kate), Julia, Sean and Matthew (Jessica). Sister Beryl Goodman and brother Glen Wilson. She is predeceased by grandson Jonathan Kryluk; parents David and Della Wilson; and sister Sheila Reavie.

Cremation has already taken place. A private family gathering will take place and interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Thunder Bay, Ontario at a later date.
