Beloved husband of Janice, Passed away peacefully at home February 14, 2019, in the arms of his loving wife.

Lloyd was born in Bassano, Alberta, to Harry and Vivian Meidinger, July 19, 1940.
He worked in Alberta with heavy equipment, construction, backhoe work as well as having cattle on a small farm in Pincher Creek for 45 years.

In 2001 he fulfilled his biggest dream by moving to Saskatchewan to build his family ranch. This is where he called home.

At 65 Lloyd and Janice started spending their winters in Arizona, where they acquired another family of special friends and a playground of fun, driving and rebuilding dune buggies.

Lloyd loved his grandchildren and family more than anything else. He enjoyed hunting in his earlier years, but fishing, “tinkering” and living each day to its fullest, was his passion.

Besides his beloved wife Janice of 25 years, Lloyd is survived by his loving children: Dawn (Warren)Lebsack, Craig Meidinger, Lorie (Harold) Bowman, Holly (Will) Hollingshead, Jodi Hurlburt, Sheri (Terry) Palibroda, Patricia (Clint) Grattan and grandchildren: Tyson, Josh (Malika), Garrett, Colin, Bryce, Ryan, Lexie, Sadie, Zavery, Paiton, Logan, Ben, Sam (Marie), Ashley and Heidi.

He was predeceased by his parents, first loving wife Mary Lee Cote (1989) and grandson Ben Palibroda (2011).

There will be a private celebration of life held at the family ranch at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation for palliative care, Box 1470 Moosomin, SK S0G 3N0 or the new airport.
