Edwin Edward Heinrich was born on the farm northeast of Burrows, Sask. to Edward and Bertha (Schinkel) Heinrich on April 15, 1940.
He passed away peacefully on August 17, 2019 in Broadview Hospital at the age of 79 years.
Ed left school to work in Calgary. He returned to work on various farms which he enjoyed. He had a great interest in photography and took many pictures in the oil patch and on construction sites. Ed loved playing baseball, going to hockey games and keeping up with the NHL. His favourite music was Southern Gospel.
Edwin was predeceased by his father Edward (1987), his mother Bertha (2003), sister Lily (1936), brothers Edgar (1939) and Oswald (2015).
Ed is survived by one sister Mary Ann (Vincent) Fredlund, sister-in-law Katherine Heinrich, as well as nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service was held at 11 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in the Stockholm Evangelical Mission Church cemetery.
