Mary passed away peacefully at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre on July 1, 2013.
Mary was the fourth of 16 children born at Plum Coulee, Manitoba to Abram and Margaretha Redekopp (Dyck). In 1947 she married Diedrich Wiebe. They lived in the communities of Altona, Maryfield, Fairlight and Wawota before moving to Moosomin in 1961.

Mary worked hard in her lifetime, first as a farm hand for her father, then raising her family and caring for other children before entering the workforce, first at the Moosomin Hotel and then in the laundry department at the Nursing Home until her retirement.

There was always time for family in Mary's busy days; she loved nothing better than her home full of family and the holidays spent visiting her siblings, children and grandchildren. She entertained all ages with games, her favorites being Cribbage or Scrabble. Mary enjoyed the companionship of many good friends throughout her lifetime and treasured each one. Life was not always easy for Mary; her family often found comfort as she sang her troubles away.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Diedrich, sons David (infancy) Larry and Henry, daughters Trudy and Linda, son-in-law Raymond and granddaughters Sheryl-Lynn and Alissa, sisters Lena (Henry), Justina (Chris), Tina (Dave), Annie (Frank), Nettie (John), Agatha (John), and brothers Abram (Leona), Jacob (Katharina), John and brothers-in-law William, Bill and Rolla.

She leaves to mourn her passing sons Abram his sons David, Scott and Tyler, son-in-law Bruce Adams, his children Cindy and Jason, John (Marilyn) their children TJ and Tasha, Jacob (Marie) their sons Chris and Michael, Danny, his daughters Amanda and Azelyn, daughters Dorothy, her children Tony, Rebecca and Jessica, Margaret (Allan), children Murray and Tannis, Susan (Delbert) and their sons Peter and Paul, Irene (Boyd), their children Sarah, Douglas, Zenith and Doris, and their families, her brother Peter (Betty), sisters Margaret (John), Eva (Harold), Gertrude, Sarah, Susan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held July 5, 2013 at Carscadden's Funeral Chapel with Rev Barbara Wilkins officiating. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
