Andrew Y.B. Shields, 92, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2019 at the South East Integrated Care Centre in Moosomin with family by his side.
A celebration of Andy‘s life was held at Carscadden Funeral Home on December 6, 2019.
He will be remembered fondly as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His radiant smile and contagious laugh will remain in our hearts forever. Andy touched the lives of everyone that he met.
Andy was predeceased by his parents Archibald and Mildred, first wife Clara, stepson Cecil Steffenson, and step-grandsons Wade Steffenson and Beau Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife Aline, six children: Marilyne (Armel), Viviane, Evelyne, Richard (Lenna), Ronald (Laureen) and Pauline, daughter-in-law Marjorie, 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at South East Integrated Care Center for their great care of Andy, and to family and friends for visiting him and attending the funeral service. The family would also like to extend a “thank you” to everyone for their prayers and condolences which were greatly appreciated during this time.
