Albert (Ab) Yeo of Moosomin, Sask. passed away at the SEICC on November 29, 2019. A private graveside service for family and close friends was held on December 4, 2019 with Rev. Mel Konkel officiating.

Pallbearers were nephews Jim Findlay, Rick Findlay, Ivan Findlay, Brock Findlay, Randy Yeo and family friend Tom Lowe.

Ab was born in the Fleming area to William and Kate Yeo. He was the third youngest of ten children.

Raised on a farm, farming became something dear to Ab’s heart. A very dedicated farmer into his 90’s.

Even after slowing down, farming was always a topic of choice.

On January 10, 1942, Ab married Mary McTavish and together they first farmed in the Fairlight area and then later moved to the Woodlands District.

Both Ab and Mary were very hard workers. Everything well looked after. Family, garden, crops, animals. Never neglected!

Ab enjoyed sports and participated in baseball, hockey, curling and Pony Club events.

Ab was predeceased by his parents, all his siblings and all Mary’s siblings.

He leaves to mourn his daughter Marilyn (Ken) Bennie; son Eddie (Kathy); grandson Troy Bennie (Cathy Rouse).
