Leah Loretta Worsley was born July 30, 1915 to John and Vera (Marshall) Livingston at Elkhorn, Manitoba. She attended Woodville School in the RM of Wallace.

Following her father's death, Leah and her mother resided in Melville and Wapella prior to moving to Moosomin.

In July 1945, Leah married William Francis (Bill) Worsley and they farmed for a number of years before settling in Moosomin in 1961, at which time Leah's mother resided with them.

Leah was a music teacher and gave piano lessons for years. She also cooked at Blanche's Grill and later at the Moosomin Nursing Home until she retired. Following the passing of her mother and husband, Leah continued to live in her home until suffering a stroke in 2001 and became a resident of the nursing home. Leah passed away peacefully on July 15, 2013 after a lengthy confinement.

Leah was predeceased by her parents John and Vera Livingston, her husband Bill and her brother Clair. She is survived by nieces and nephews: Pearl Irvine, Moosomin; Jack (Betty) Lemoine, Moosomin, Marjorie (Rae) Thompson, Rocanville; Jim (Eileen) Etherington, Rocanville; Norman (Betty) Perry, Nipawin; Darwyn (Kathy) Worsley, Nipawin; Mavis (John) Flegal, Abbotsford, B.C.; Ken Worsley, B.C.; Josephine (Russ) Hayward, North Battleford; Dorothy Spurr, Rocanville; and by numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Moosomin, on Saturday, July 20 with Ryan Bak officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or the Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation, in memory of Leah.
