Betty Marie Horsburgh Lemoine of Moosomin left this earthly life on January 18, 2022 to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in Heaven. Her 15 year battle with cancer is over.

Betty was born January 26, 1938 on the family farm four miles north of Moosomin, the third child of Ben and Kelly Horsburgh. She attended Ivanhoe School. She lived in Moosomin and area most of her life except for five years in Manitoba. She worked for Carscadden Funeral Home for eight years before she married Jack in 1960. Betty spent 20 years caring for children of others, (110 children of Moosomin area). She was very involved in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She travelled in her retirement across Canada and to many other countries. Her family was her pride and joy, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 61 years, Leo Jack Lemoine, and her four children and their families:

-Kevin Lemoine (Bernice), Kristine Lazurko (Bryce), their daughter Olivia Lazurko; and Melissa Lemoine;

-Terry Lemoine (Robin), Travis Bailey; Samantha (Josh) Kaserbauer, their daughter Luxe Kaserbauer; step-daughter Sarah McCullough;

-Roger Lemoine (Sherri-Dawn), Mishayla (Seth) Thiessen, their daughters Sawyer and Piper Thiessen; and Kaley Lemoine (Chazdynn Weber);

-Linda Fisher (Hal McGinnis), Kaitlyn Fisher (Ross Golding); Cody Fisher (Kaye Paquachan) and son RedBear Fisher.

Also by her brother and sisters and their families: Joan Wade, Doreen Ramsdale, Jack Horsburgh, Gail Ashton, Carol Johnson, and brother-in-law Eddie McEwen and family.

She was predeceased by grandson Kale Lemoine, her parents Ben and Kelly Horsburgh and sister Florence McEwen. Also by a number of in-laws, Leo and Alice Lemoine, Al and Pearl Irvine, Tony Wade, Dennis Ramsdale, Elaine Ross Horsburgh, Brian Ashton.

Cremation. Arrangements in care of G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel. Due to Covid restrictions there will be no funeral, but a family farewell.

Burial of cremains will be in Moosomin Memorial Gardens at a later date.

We are thankful and deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided to Betty by all the doctors, nurses, care aids and staff of the Regina Hospitals, Brandon Hospital and the Moosomin Southeast Integrated Care Centre.
