Beverly Joy Sheard, beloved wife of Francis Leroy Sheard, mother to Sharron (Daryl), David and Sandra, big sister to Lyle (Sharon), and grandmother to Kristine and Kaitlin, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

Beverly grew up and spent the majority of her life and attended school in Inglesfield and Maryfield districts. While training to be a nurse at Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing (Class of ‘58), she was also a majorette and an alto horn player with the Winnipeg Blue Bomber Band. Bev also played the French horn in Shorty’s Good Company Band. She later became a homemaker and strong advocate for her three children. She was an active member in the communities of Inglesfield Cemetery, Maryfield Library and as trustee for Maryfield School Board to ensure their continued history. Bev was a standing member of the United Empire Loyalists. Bev and Francis spent many days traveling and exploring in their camper. Bev took great interest in the genealogy of those around her, as well as various art forms, liked any food she didn’t have to cook herself and took great pride in her garden.

Please send any donations to the Inglesfield Cemetery or the Sunrise Villa in lieu of flowers. We appreciate your love and support during this time.

A service to remember and celebrate Bev’s life will be held at a later date.
