Albert Klinger passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Moosomin Long Term Care. Albert was born on September 15, 1935 on the family farm West of Wapella to Emil and Ursula Klinger. He was the ninth of 10 children. They moved to the Kendalton District where he met Lillian Chase. They were married on August 15, 1959 and had five children.

He farmed in the Wapella area and was a John Deere mechanic in Wapella and Moosomin for 42 years. He and Lillian loved to go dancing. He enjoyed curling and playing ball with Kendalton. Once they moved to Moosomin in 2000 he enjoyed going for coffee with his buddies, driving combine and working on his checkerboard lawn.

He is survived by his loving wife Lillian of 62 years and his five children Karen (Les) Kris, Kara, Jonathon; Gloria (Doug) Sarah, Megan; Donald (Margo) Brooke, Jenna; Ken (Leann); and Kevin (Marcy) Morgan, Julia. He is also survived by his sisters Alma and Vera, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Amelia (Hugo), Hilda (Mervyn), Martha (Bill), Freda (Harold), Marie (Henry) and his two brothers Ron (Hilda) and Eric (Betty). He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law Joe and Karl.
