Clara (nee Jacques) Wyporowich passed away peacefully with family by her side on October 22, 2013, five days short of her 87th birthday.

Clara was born near Dumas, Saskatchewan on October 27, 1926, and married Walter on October 22, 1946.

Clara was a devoted wife and homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and preserving from her garden and made the best dill pickles. Clara and Walter camped for 26 summers at Crooked Lake and enjoyed many visits with family and friends.

Clara resided at St. Paul Lutheran Home, Melville, Saskatchewan for the last few years. During her residency there, she gained many close friendships. She especially enjoyed the entertainment, activities and socializing.

Clara was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter, her father and mother Robert and Blanche Jacques, and brother Adrien.

She is survived by her daughter Audrey Bil (Jim), son Garry (Liz), daughter Eveline Giles (Alan), son David (Patsy); seven grandchildren, Micheal Wyporowich (Erica), Bradley Bil (Barbie-Jo), Monty Wyporowich (Jodie), Kurtis Giles, Tally Wyporowich (Dave), Leah Wyporowich and Haley Wyporowich, seven great-grandchildren: Jaryn, Mia, Nicole, Alex, James, Lilly and Andie; sister Georgette Baudu; brothers Renä (Patsy), Ernest and Albert (Debbie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clara will be greatly missed by all of her family, extended families and friends.

A vigil service was held Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Matthews Funeral Home, Melville with the Rev. Fr. Antoni Degutis, OMI presiding. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, October 28, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Wawota with the Rev. Fr. Hector Seville celebrating. The ushers were Chad Jackson and Rene Baudu and the eulogy was delivered by Patsy Jacques. George and Ellen Deneve acted as the servers and Sharon Lamontagne and Norma Lamontagne read the scriptures. The gift bearers were Rene Jacques and Ernie Jacques and the Eucharistic Minister was Therese Lamontagne. Interment followed in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery with Kurtis Giles, Bradley Bil, Micheal Wyporowich, Monty Wyporowich, Leah Wyporowich, Tally Wyporowich and Haley Wyporowich acting as pallbearers.

Arrangements were entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville and Whitewood.
