Yorkton RCMP investigating rollover

March 25, 2024, 3:20 pm

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Yorkton RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway #9, south of Yorkton, SK.

Officers responded immediately along with the local fire department and EMS. A passenger of the vehicle was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as an 18-year-old male from Yorkton, SK. His family has been notified.

The driver and two additional passengers were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Yorkton RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
