On the morning of January 11, 2018 Fillmore RCMP received a complaint of a Break and Enter to a business in Stoughton.

A large amount of copper wire was stolen from that location.

Fillmore RCMP received a second complaint later in the day, in which rolls of copper wire had been located at a rural property near Stoughton.

While officers from Fillmore Detachment were investigating at the location where the wire was recovered, two males returned to the scene.

These individuals were taken into custody and subsequently charged with the theft.

Further search revealed a quantity of a substance believed to be crystal meth.

The two males will appear in Estevan Provincial Court on Monday, January 15th.
