Grace Elizabeth Armstrong, of Rocanville, passed away May 7th, 2020 at the age of 91.
Grace is survived by her daughter Linda (Steve) Truba of Rocanville, son Bruce of Rocanville, granddaughter Michelle (Jonathan) Kotylak and great-granddaughter London of Moose Jaw.
She was predeceased by her husband Ross, parents Dalton and Bernice Strong and by her three sisters and one brother. Grace was born and raised in the Rocanville area and had spent her entire life in the community. She was very involved in various clubs including the Ladies Auxiliary, curling club and the golf club. She worked alongside Ross in the office of the Imperial Oil Garage and Bulk Station for several years. A great pastime of Grace’s was doing petit point, she has many beautiful pictures to her credit.
Her love of family, friends, community and her passion for the Riders, Blue Jays, a good curling game and a spirited political debate will be missed.
A private interment will take place at a later date. Tributes in Grace’s memory can be made to the Moosomin & District Healthcare Foundation.
