A massive celebration is coming up this weekend at Moosomin Regional Park.

The park board is planning a “thank-you” celebration to thank the public for their support.

The event includes a free concert with singer-songwriter Blake Berglund 8:30 pm to midnight, beer gardens 4 pm to 1 am, Look DJ service entertaining in the beer garden before the concert, the Moosomin Community Market at the lake in front of the store from 11 am to 4 pm, and lots of stuff for the kids from 11 am to 8 pm, including bounce tents, water walking roller balls, and a visit from the Paw Patrol characters.

Normally the August long weekend is the Living Skies Come Alive International Fireworks Competition at Moosomin Regional Park. As that event could not be held this year because of international travel restrictions, the park board decided to host a free concert this weekend to thank the public.
