Man arrested for killing at Oak Lake
55-year-old stabbed to death at Oak Lake beach, 27-year-old arrested

A 27-year-old Brandon man is in custody following the death of a 55-year-old man at Oak Lake Beach Friday evening.
On Friday, November 12, 2021, at approximately 6:50 pm, Westman and Blue Hills RCMP were dispatched to a report of a stabbing on the Main Road in Oak Lake Beach.
When police arrived, a 55-year-old man from Oak Lake Beach, was located suffering from very serious injuries.
He was later declared deceased on scene.
A suspect was identified and arrested a short time later in Souris, Manitoba.
The 27-year-old male, from Brandon, remains in custody.
The investigation continues with assistance of RCMP Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
