Chris Fahlman, the man charged in the shooting death of Tanya Myers on a highway near Weyburn in September, appeared in Weyburn Provincial Court on Tuesday, December 9.
Fahlman has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of Tanya Myers on Highway 39 north of Weyburn on September 12. Myers was travelling with a friend when a bullet entered the vehicle they were in and killed her.
At Fahlman’s court appearance on December 9, there were discussions about setting a preliminary inquiry date.
Fahlman has also been charged with intentionally discharging a firearm while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person.
Fahlman remains in custody. His next court appearance is set for December 18 in Weyburn.
