Commercial condos planned for Moosomin

Eleven commercial condo bays are planned for Moosomin in Eastgate Business Park for shop and light industrial use. The condos would be located on Saunders Road, just south of the SaskPower building.
Jay Hamilton with South Prairie Properties sat down with Moosomin town council on Wednesday to talk about the development and ask for council to approve 11 units over two lots in that location. Council passed a motion to allow for the 11 units to be built over two lots.
Hamilton said each unit would be zoned C2 Commercial, and would be individually owned and titled just like a residential condo, but would be for commercial use. They woud share some common property like a parking lot, a small amount of land around the buildings and an approach.
In total there would be three buildings, and Hamilton estimated the project will cost $2.5 million to $3.5 million to construct.
