
Grace was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to Grant and Eileen Blakley.
She was the fifth child of a family of eleven children and was raised on the family farm near Tantallon, Saskatchewan.
Grace started her working life as a telephone operator in Tantallon and later in Binscarth, Manitoba.
Eventually, she became a secretary, and worked for a few years for Potash Corp, Rocanville. At that time she lived in Rocanville and Welwyn, Saskatchewan.
Grace loved travelling which lured her to visit Europe (Spain) and the United States.
In her later years she settled in Saskatoon where she became a Spiritualist for the remainder of her life.
Grace is predeceased by her parents, Grant and Eileen, brothers Dwight and David, sister and brother-in-law Mildred and Louis Johnson and nephews Richard and Robert Blakley.
She leaves to mourn: sisters Delta Kelly, Shelley (Les) Duke, Audrey (Neil) Marsh; brothers Glenn (Deb), Colin (Charon), Rod (Ginger), Ben (Deb), sisters-in-law, Jeanette Blakley and Helen Blakley and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
There will be a private graveside memorial at a later date.
The family would like to thank all who cared for Grace in her last years.
