
Harry Bayless passed away on February 13, 2020 at the age of 96 at Southeast Integrated Care Centre.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne, sons Dave, Ken (Judi), daughter Laurie (Rick), grandchildren, Clint (Kerry), Sheree (Randy), Kim (Clint), Rory (Angela), Rian (Nicky), Jacky, great-grandchildren, Jake (Ceara), Taylor (Kyle), Brooklyn, Alyssa, Griffin, Forrest, and Korrie.
Harry was born on his grandparents’ farm north of Welwyn on January 26, 1924. He attended school in Ferndale. He grew up helping his dad farm. He married Jeanne Gardner from Welwyn August 18, 1948. Working together, they built a life while mixed farming in the Ferndale district, which provided for their family. Harry also worked at PCS for several years as a Security Guard. In 1980 they moved to Rocanville where they made a beautiful home and garden. In 2015 they moved to a condo in Moosomin.
He was very community minded, and served on the Welwyn Wheat Pool Board, Rocanville School Board, and was very active in the Ferndale Community and the Rocanville Seniors Centre. Harry enjoyed spending time with the many friends that he and Jeanne made over the years.
Harry and Jeanne enjoyed their many trips to the U.S. and western Canada as well as his fishing trips up north. But Harry’s favorite times were visiting with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members.
