Gladys May Bishop, beloved wife of the late Charles Bishop, passed away at the Southeast Integrated Care Centre on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the age of 93.
Mom was born on February 9, 1931 to Norman and Dora McCaskill in Kapuskasing, Ontario and was one of ten children.
Mom married Charles Bishop on November 1, 1953 and raised four children.
Mom worked at Moosomin Union Hospital for 43 years where she made many lifelong friends.
She leaves to mourn, her children Elaine (Wayne) Hopkins, Barb (Tim) Flynn, and Jody (Trent) Schmidt; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Charles (2010) and her son Ron (1998) as well as numerous relatives.
She will be missed deeply by many.
In lieu of flowers, for those who so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Moosomin & District Healthcare Foundation for Moosomin Long Term Care Recreation Department, Box 1470, Moosomin, SK S0G 3N0, in memory of Gladys.
