MacLeod Elementary School students took part in a ceremony at Moosomin’s labyrinth on Thursday for National Truth and Reconciliation Day. The ceremony was led by Joy Flaman, a member of Moosomin’s Indigenous community, and included drumming, songs, prayers and smudging.

The students painted orange rocks with a black fingerprint on each after the ceremony and formed them into the shape of a heart that was left near the labyrinth.
