Marion Joy Sauter passed away on January 30, 2023.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Donald Gordon, on August 11, 2012.
She is survived by her sister Beryl Lewis and sister-in-law Lorna Bennett, sisters-in-law Carol Mills, JoAnne (Armand) Moreau and Dale (Walter) Purvis as well as many nieces, nephews and special cousins and friends.
Very special thanks to Dan and Heather Basham and Nola Marth.
Joy worked as a secretary for 39 years. On retirement she volunteered and worked for Holiday Park Resort where she resided since 1992.
Joy had a love of travel and visited many places including China, Argentina, Chile, the Netherlands, Mexico, South Africa, Zimbabwe and so many others. She loved to take tours and learn everything she could about where she was visiting.
In earlier years Joy and Don loved travelling in their fifth wheel visiting Canada, the United States and helping out on family farms in Saskatchewan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity or society of your choice.
No service will be held at her request.
