Marion Evelyn (nee Adam) Boland passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at age 77 on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
Marion is survived by her husband, John "Gene" Boland; daughters, Denise (Garry), Eugenie (Rene) - Justin and Celeste, Laura (Arnie) - Gillianne, Jocelyn, Lauren, Colin, Faith (Wayne) - Kandace and Sarah; sisters, Bernice (Leo), Jean; brother, Morgan (Betty); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marion was predeceased by her parents, James and Jessie; her brother, Bruce; brother-in-law, Joe; and sister-in-law, Gloria.
A celebration of Marion’s life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Grace Westminster United Church (505 - 10th Street East, Saskatoon).
Marion was well loved and she touched the lives of many friends and family including children she taught and cared for. She had many passions including gardening, painting, nature, horses, sports, crafts, music and fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB. The family would like to express special thanks to the Oncology Department at RUH and the palliative care team and the Transition Unit at City Hospital.
