Janet Mark slipped peacefully from this world on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the Redvers Long Term Care Facility at the age of 100 years.
Janet was greeted in Heaven by her parents, Stewart and Florence Houston; husband Leonard Mark; brothers, Alan Houston and John Houston; sister Evelyn Sutherland; sisters-in-law, Jean Houston, Velma Houston and Anna Ruth Houston; brother-in-law Walter Sutherland and nephew Stewart Sutherland.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Phil Mark; daughter Mary (John) Mark Ockerbloom; grandchildren, Phobe and Whimsey Mark Ockerbloom and brother Clinton Houston.
A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 1 pm at St. Andrews United Church, Maryfield, Sask. with Rev. Roy Bortolotto presiding. A luncheon will be held at the Harmony Centre following the service after which the interment will take place at the Redvers Town Cemetery.
