Alice Catherine Lunn was born January 17, 1941 to Vincent and Madge (Feader) Lunn in Moosomin, Sask. and passed away July 5, 2025.

Due to the separation during World War II, Alice’s parents divorced. Alice lived with her mother and maternal grandparents in Moosomin and completed her schooling there.

Alice became a teacher, and taught one year in Maple Creek, Sask. Finding teaching was not her calling, she took a business course and went to work for the Pasqua Hospital in Regina as a typist in the Pathology department until retirement. She bought a house near the hospital.

In her yard there was a big raspberry patch and a large garden plot which she planted with vegetables every year. She grew a variety of perennial flowers, with her favourite being day lilies.

Alice volunteered at the Regina Humane Society for 45 years and sponsored 1,000 animals for adoption, spaying, and neutering. She adopted five cats, whose names all started with the letter “G”. Staff at the shelter were family to Alice.

In her memory, please make a donation to the Regina Humane Society, 4900 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK, S4W 0T7.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Family and friends are invited to leave tributes at www.reginafuneralhome.ca. Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery 306- 789-8850.
