Robert Guy Gough (Bob) passed away at Melville nursing home on December 10, 2025. Bob was born in Welby, Saskatchewan and was the fifth son of Bloomfield and Rosa Gough.
He was a carpenter most of his life, starting with his dad and then he worked for Jack Barker. In later years, he worked by himself. In 1997, he married Shirley Louma (Odgers) and into this marriage also came Shirley’s daughters, Denise and Brenda.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Bloomfield and Rosa Gough, brothers George, Harlow, Ben and Ron Gough and infant brother David, sisters-in-law Helen Gough, Doreen Gough, and Bev Gough, niece Karen Hilgers, and brother-in-law Don Odgers.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Gough, brother Lorne (Sandra) Gough, step-daughters Denise (Brian) and Brenda, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nephews Brad (Verna) Gough and families, Dean Gough, great nieces and nephews Tracey Dietrich, Warren Hilgers, Rhonda (Justin) Busse, Ryan (Rhea) Hilgers and family, Fred (Cheryl) Odgers, sister-in-law Rosilie Odgers, and brother-in-law Robert Odgers.
Robert’s loves in life were his family, baseball, music and keeping his yard neat and clean
A service was held on Sunday, December 20, 2025 at the Tantallon Community Hall with Rev. Jean Istace officiating.
