On Sunday, September 7, 2014, Ada Sexsmith, widow of Alex Sexsmith of Kennedy, Sask. and late of Broadview, Sask. passed away at the age of 97 years.
The funeral service was held in the Kennedy United Church in Kennedy, Sask. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Wilkins and Paster Richard Barta officiating. Cremation with family interment was held in Kennedy cemetery.
Ada was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1982; her parents Richard and Edith Worley; brothers Ernest, Walter, Clifford, Bert and Dick Worley; and sister Hilda Barta.
Ada is survived by her son Dan (Shirley) Sexsmith of Regina and their family: Larry (Karen) Sexsmith and family, Jason (Kristal) Sexsmith and son Tate, Jerry (Tami) Sexsmith and family Cole and Hannah, Joan (Mark) Jarocki of Red Deer, Alta. and family Jordan (Jessica) Jarocki and daughter Kylie, and Krystal Jarocki. She is also survived by her daughter Judy (Kleven) MacDougall of Langbank, Sask. and their family Janell (Chad) MacDougall and Neil (Delaine) MacDougall and daughter Kiera. Ada is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
