In loving memory of Frederick Robert Smith of Maryfield, Sask. who passed away at the Southeast Integrated Long Term Care Facility in Moosomin, Sask., on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the age of 83.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church in Maryfield, Sask. with Roy Bortolotto officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Fred was predeceased by his father and mother, Bill and Alma Smith, brother Geordie Smith and granddaughter Ashley Ostepchuk.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 61 years, Margaret (Brady); his children: Freda (Rob) Hill of Maryfield, Dale (Gord) Otto of Yorkton, Sharon (Don) Osipoff of Regina, Lucille (Ken) Sheane of Maryfield; grandchildren Keith (Tina) Hill, Duane (Joanne) Hill, Michelle (Bryan) Fetter, Patrick Hill, Chad Otto, Scott (Chasity) Otto, Ryan (Shara) Ostepchuk, Cody (Geanna) Ostepchuk, Carmen (Kris) Bernstrom, Amanda (Chris) Sheane, Candace Simon; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Jean (Murray) Taylor; his aunt Freda Page; sister-in-law Verla Smith; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Inez Brady; sister-in-law Joyce Kay; brother-in-law Lloyd Peterson; sister-in-law Wende Brady; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
