Clarence passed away peacefully on March 2, 2015 at the South East Integrated Care Centre in Moosomin, Sask. at the age of 83.
Clarence was born on August 16, 1931 at Maryfield, Sask. to Steve and Agnes (nee Barness) Billard, the eldest of four children.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Agnes Billard, parents-in-law Walter and Edna Peterson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David Kruger, Orville and Ruth Peterson, and Shirley Peterson.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife Marian; his four children Karen Rennie (Brian), Roger, Warren (Eileen), Norman (Colette); two grandsons Zac and Jake Billard; sisters Betty (Don) Swallow and Doreen (Ed) Naylen; brother Denny (Sonja); and many nieces and nephews.
Clarence raised four children in Maryfield while working various jobs. He spent 24 years building roads with the RM of Maryfield and worked his way up to foreman.
Clarence was dedicated to his community through his participation in the Maryfield volunteer fire department, Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, school board, gun club and golf course.
Clarence’s family was very important to him and he is dearly missed.
