It is with fond memories and deep sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
Clarence was born at 27-10-32-1 on the family farm near Fairlight, Saskatchewan.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 61 years Marie, his children and grandchildren: Kimball (Marlene), Kayla-Marie, Darren, and Travis Sauter; Holly-Ann Sauter (Jaime), April (Rob), Kristina and Janell Madarasz.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents Charles and Carlotta Sauter (Davey), brothers Ken and Les Sauter, sister-in-law Iris Sauter, mother-in-law Annie Holowaty, brothers-in-law Joe and Walter Holowaty.
Clarence was in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1952-1960. He worked as an Insrument Technician and was stationed at Fighter 2 Wing in France for four years.
Clarence and Marie returned to Canada in 1960 and left the Royal Canadian Air Force. They moved to Fort MacLeod in 1961 to work in the manufactured home industy.
Clarence, Marie and family moved to Lethbridge in 1968 to continue working in the manufactured home industry until his retirement in 1997 from SRI Homes.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, Lethbridge for 55 years.
Clarence enjoyed curling, cribbage and could build or fix anything.
