On Sunday, January 24, 2016, Patricia Louise McGrayne, went alone for that walk that all of us must take.
She left behind, her husband, a daughter, two grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. She will meet her brother and sister who have gone before.
She was born in Bloomfield, Ontario, in 1937, and raised by foster parents from the age of three. After school, and the birth of a daughter, she worked her way west, and while working at the Hotel Saskatchewan, in 1961 she met the man who would be her husband for the next 50 plus years.
Her body has been cremated, there will be no funeral. Her ashes will be interred at Maryfield in the summer of 2016, time and date will be announced.
Her husband, Hugh Heal, received friends at the Ameliasburg Town Hall in the afternoon of Saturday, February 6, from 2 to 5 p.m.
For those that are willing, a donation to a charity of your choice will be acknowledged. Maybe your choice will be ours, the Seventh town Historical Society, 528 Cty Rd 19, Ameliasburg, ON, K0K 1A0.
