Darren McGonigal passed away on March 23, 2013 at the South East Integrated Care Centre with his family at his side.
Darren was the son of Melvin and Ruth McGonigal. He was born in Moosomin and lived there right up to the time of his death.
He attended school in Moosomin. In 1979 Darren started working at Miller Farm Equipment as partsman. While at Millers he worker as partsman, service manager and general manager. Darren made many local farmer friends and just friends in general over the years.
He loved skidooing, music and his vehicles.
Darren is predeceased by his brother Dennis and nephew Lyndon and his father the late Melvin McGonigal.
He leaves to mourn his passing daughter Colby (Drew); mother Ruth; sister Carolyn (Earl); brother Jeff (Danette); sister-in-law Judy; nephews Kristen (Rene), Brendan, Kelly (Becky), Keegan (Brittany); nieces Niquitta, Shelby, Krista (Dereck) and great-nephew Cole.
A memorial service was held at Moosomin Convention Centre March 28, 2013 with Rev. John Houtman officiating.
Interment will be at Moosomin South Cemetery at a later date.
