
Lenore Streicker of Coldstream Meadows, B.C., died on March 25, 2016 at the age of 86 with her family by her side.
Lenore was predeceased by her parents, brother, sister and husband, Marty. She is survived by her 4 children, Mark Streicker (Robin), California, Kelly Megyesi, Vernon B.C., John Streicker (Susan), Whitehorse YT, Jamie Streicker (Jackie), Salmon Arm, B.C., her grandchildren, Becky (Terence) and Jay, Jacob, Amie, and Tess, Jessica and Jenny, her great-grandchildren Mateo and Nicholas, and many nieces and nephews.
Lenore was devoted to her family, loved teaching (high school mathematics and drama), singing in the choir, playing bridge with many friends in Saskatoon and Vernon, and doing volunteer work in the community over the years (coaching, the arts and health care).
A memorial was held in Vernon, at Coldstream Meadows Views on Saturday April 2. Lenore’s ashes will be interred with her husband, Marty, at a columbarium in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Saskatoon on Wednesday August 17. An afternoon celebration for all friends and family will follow at 2 pm at the Forestry Farm.
