Noreen passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 after a difficult illness. Noreen was born on April 18, 1947 in Moosomin, Sask.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Dan; her children Kerry (Nelson) and Kent (Sharon); her cherished grandchildren Joey, Kelton, Ella and Maya; brother Kenny (Judy); sisters Janice (Dennis) and Linda (Gordon); as well as a large extended family and many close friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Cathie Woods.
Noreen grew up on the home farm near Moosomin, Sask. in Coppice Hill district before moving to Regina, Sask.
She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to the service of others. Noreen gave of herself completely and selflessly.
Nana adored time spent with her family and especially loved helping to raise her beautiful grandchildren.
A funeral mass for Noreen was celebrated at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, Sask. on Friday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Andree celebrant.
