Robert William Preston passed away peacefully on September 30, 2016 at the age of 90.
He is survived by his wife, Edith; daughter, Shirley Handley; granddaughters, Angela (Marc) Tomlinson, Amanda (Ryan) Percy; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brynleigh, Benjamin, William, Isabella; as well as many family and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Marvin and Eveline Preston, and brother John Allan Preston.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at Chalmers Castle Downs United Church (12315 132 Avenue NW, Edmonton) at 11:00 a.m.
Donations in Robert's honour may be made to the Edmonton Association of the Deaf (11404 142 Street NW, Edmonton, AB, T5M 1V1).
