It is with great sadness our family announces the peaceful death of Bruce, October 11, 2016, at the age of 87 years at this home of Albright Manor, Beamsville, Ont.
Bruce was born June 4, 1929 in Rocanville, Sask. He married Lyla Street on August 5, 1950 and together they shard 66 years of marriage. Bruce and Lyla moved east to Toronto at that time and settled later in St. Catharines, Ont.
Over the course of his career Bruce drove Streetcars for the TTC, sold automobiles, and managed gas stations in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls.
Left to cherish Bruce’s memory is his wife Lyla; son Dale; daughter Darlene Hudson; granddaughter Candra; grandson Brennan; son Darrell (Edith); son-in-law Tom Hudson; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Finlay, mother Jennie and brother Dave Brownlee.
Our family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at Albright for their compassionate care of Bruce.
The family will be having a private memorial sometime in the near future.
