Barb Schermann of Esterhazy, Sask. passed away on January 14, 2017 at Saskatoon at the age of 60 years.
Barb was born in Biggar, Sask. in 1956. She was the second daughter of Bernie and Yvonne Schermann, followed by four more daughters.
After spending her youth in several communities, she settled in Tantallon, Sask. and then retired in Esterhazy, Sask. where she enjoyed spending time with her son and his family.
Barb loved gardening, fishing, the wonders of nature, taking photos, going on adventures and tours.
She was a strong independent soul who loved the sunshine. She could often be found enjoying her morning coffee basking in the sun. Barb was loved by those that met her and knew her and she will be sorely missed.
She was predeceased by her parents Bernie and Yvonne Schermann.
Surviving are her son Clinton Hollingshead and his wife Kelli and her five grandchildren; Madilyn, Connor, Delaney, Dominic and Kipton. Also surviving are her five sisters; Pandy (Doug) Prince, Tannis Schermann (Walter Malitear), Sheila (Mark) Fafard, Dorcie (Perry) Hertlein, Keona (Bill) Duce and by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and other loving family.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
