Mary Ethel Ursel was born Aug. 29, 1923 to Thomas and Katie Thompson.
Mary is survived by her children Dianne (Warren), Debbie (Allan), John; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Ruby Geal; brother Everette; sisters-in-law Thelma Thompson and Martha and Ethel and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Katie Thompson; her husband Jack; sisters Gladys, Gertie, Florence, Lily and Maggie May in childhood; brothers Harry, Wilbert Stanley and Elvin; sister-in-law Bassie Thompson; brothers-in-law John Geal, Walter Holder, Charlie McNiellie, Stewart Bradshaw, Lambert McAmmond; daughter Shirley; son-in-law Melbourne and daughter-in-law Judy.
Services were held on April 6, 2013 at G.R. Carscadden Funeral Chapel, Moosomin. Memorials may be made to Moosomin and District Health Care Foundation. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
