William Van Meer passed away July 22, 2017. He was born August 28, 1954 in Moosomin to his parents Robert and June.
He is survived by his two brothers and two sisters: Kay, Sue, Jim, and Don, and his loving wife Susan.
Together they raised their two sons and one daughter: Leslie, Duane, and Julie.
Bill helped his father with the scrap business. He then worked at the Co-op pumping gas and fixing vehicles. Afterwards he then dedicated over 30 years working at the hockey rink and tending to the golf course and ball diamonds. During that time he also drove school bus for 25 years.
Bill loved taking his children and grandchildren fishing and he enjoyed going for coffee with his many friends and colleagues.
A private funeral service was held for the family and a life celebration tea for everyone took place at the Moosomin Baptist Church. The family thanks everybody for the sympathies and kind words.
