
On Sunday, January 28, 2018, Clara Thelma Szafron of Moosomin, Sask. and formerly of Wapella, Sask. died at the age of 85 years.
A celebration of life was held in St. Andrew’s United Church, Wapella, Sask. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11 am by celebrant Darlene Thomson.
Reception followed the celebration in the Wapella School.
Interment of cremated remains at a later time.
Clara was predeceased by her husband Stanley Szafron; daughter Karen Courtney; parents Edward and Olga Eifler; sisters Linda and Bertha (in infancy); brother Otto (in infancy); brothers Alex Eifler and Edward Eifler and sister Lydia Swenson.
She is survived by her family: Terry (Joy) Szafron and family Todd (Paula) and Tara (Dwight); Rory (Susan) Szafron and family Clayton (Brett), Amber (Dallas), Zachary and Quinlan; James (Janice) Szafron and family Curtis (Shelley), Mark (Destiny), Jeremy, Clint, Kim and Clay (Ronnie); Tami (Randy) Young and family Justin (Kendra) and Jory (Dana); Lori-Sue (Ken) Hein and family Luke and Zane; son-in-law John Courtney and family Jacci and Kris (Tara) as well as 30 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Beutler; brothers Ivan Eifler (Bernice) and Bill Eifler (Linda) and thoughtfully other family members.
