Catherine Peddle passed away in Port Alberni on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the age of 91 years.
Predeceased by infant son Glenn, sister Mary, brothers Aubrey, Herbert and Kenneth and grandson Michael.
Catherine is survived by husband Bert (of 67 years of marriage), children John (Laura), Steve (Deanna), Linda May (Frank); 9 grandchildren Theresa, Kimberley, Calvin, Phillip, Sherise, Nathalie, Rebecca, Brooke and Mackenzie; six great-grandchildren and extended family.
Born on the prairies, Catherine and Bert came to Port Alberni in 1996 after retiring from their family grain and livestock farm. She embraced being close to family, gardening, garage saling, quilting, cooking, baking, nature, picnicking, reading and being involved in raising her family and her grandchildren. Catherine was always so happy to hear about her grandchildren’s lives and accomplishments.
Private interment will take place at a later date.
