Gerald James Hastman
1944-2019

Gerald was ready when the Lord called him home on May 7, 2019, in Moosomin, Saskatchewan.
Gerald was born at his parents’ home in the Golden Bay area, east of Beausejour, Man.
Gerald is survived by three siblings: Ken Hastman, of Selkirk, Man., Gladys Weselak, of Chilliwack, B.C. and Brenda Newman, of Armstrong, B.C. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Otto Hastman; his sister Marlene Goshulak, and his brother-in-law Alex Goshulak; his brother Gordon Hastman and his sister-in-law Beatrice Hastman; and his brother-in-law Douglas Weselak.
Surviving Gerald’s passing are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gerald will be remembered as a kind, gentle, loving man.
A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour, Man.
