Andy Hirney, Rocanville, Sask. passed away at age 89, June 21, 2020.
His work as herdsman for Denzil and Wilma Sutton, for both their Hereford and Charolais businesses was a huge factor in Suttons’ selling their cattle to nine countries in the world.
For many years, upon his retirement he used his car to drive ladies to the United Church Sunday services. He helped with elk work for Sutton’s daughters, loved Threshing Days and the Rocanville Tigers!
Andy had an exceptional talent for making difficult puzzles quickly!
He hopes to donate his wooden replicas of farm machinery to Rocanville Museum.
