Suddenly, because of a highway accident on May 6, 2021, it is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Colleen McPhee, age 17 of Wapella, Saskatchewan, and formerly of Penobsquis, New Brunswick.

Colleen is the loving daughter of Colby and Roma (nee Andrews) McPhee, dear sister to Chelsea (Alex) and Coleman (Vanessa); Cherished granddaughter of Shirley “Grammie” Andrews (deceased), James Andrews, Ruby (nee Mclong, deceased) and Randy and Madeline McPhee; Special niece to Byron and Sandra Andrews, Karen Andrews and Aga Khan, Bruce and Theresa Andrews, George and Josée McPhee and Robert and Tammie McPhee.

She is survived by first cousins: Mariah, Brent, Selina, Julia, Myles, Evan, Derek, Colton, Chandra, Janelle, Alisha, Breagha and Brooke, that she loved to be around in either New Brunswick or Prince Edward Island.

Colleen loved being outside as she enjoyed hunting, puttering around cars, cooking, crafts, music and just hanging out. Colleen was one of a kind who lived by the motto “Be brave enough to be yourself.” She especially enjoyed her summers in PEI hanging out with cousins and cooking with “Grammie.”

A visitation was held from her home in Wapella on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
