Dona Jean Low passed away at the Regina General Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the age of 73 years. Dona was predeceased by her parents Jack and Florence Sauter, her sister Lois and brother Lynn. Dona is survived by her husband of 42 years Jerry, her daughter Lisa, son Kevin (Laura) and daughter Christine (Sheldon), grandchildren: Michelle (Brenden), Lincoln, Rachel, Karson, Hannah, Alyssa, Kyle and one great-granddaughter, Eleanor along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Born, raised and lived in the Fairlight/Maryfield area for most of her life, Dona went to hair dressing school before owning her own salon in Maryfield. She sang at many weddings over the years, loved to curl and watch or participate in sports when she could. Dona’s family and friends were her greatest love. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

We would like to thank everyone who provided care for Dona so she could maintain her independence and quality of life both at home and in Long Term Care. The list is long, and it was your kindness and support that contributed to Dona’s never-ending positive attitude. Jerry’s dedication and commitment is admired by many. Thank you to all LTC staff in Wawota, Kipling, Redvers and Moosomin, Home Care and Regina for your compassion and amazing care. We will be forever grateful.

Our family would like to thank everyone who attended Dona’s funeral on October 23, 2021, at the Fairlight Hall. We would like to express our appreciation to Carscadden Funeral Chapel for their services, Bev Ireland for leading the service and to the AGC church for preparing and serving the lunch. All the flowers, food, cards, visits, phone calls and text messages will help us get through this difficult time. We feel privileged to live in such a great community. Thank you.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation for the Moosomin Long Term Care Van Fund, in memory of Dona.
