In loving memory of Thomas “Mac” English, who passed away at the age of 95 on March 20, 2026.
Born on April 15, 1930 Mac was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, stepfather and friend known for his kind and gentle heart.
Mac is survived by his loving wife Isabel (Stair), his children Randy (Linda) English, Peggy (Dennis) Heincke, Barbara (Rob) Usher, and their families; stepchildren Laurena (Av) Beirnes, Terry (Ian) Christie, Val (Michael) Hill and their families.
Mac was an amateur ham radio operator and spent countless hours communicating with people around the world. An avid aviation enthusiast, Mac spent time at various air shows that were within driving distance.
In 1987 Mac married Isabel and once he retired from Trans Canada Pipelines they started travelling and eventually became snowbirds. They spent many winters at their place in Apache Junction, Arizona enjoying time there with friends and family. Mac had a fondness for sweets, especially jellybeans which he always had in his pockets or near him.
In honouring Mac’s memory, please join family and friends on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 2 pm in St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Dr, St. Albert Alberta.
