Collin Peterson, 62, of Maryfield has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with court-ordered conditions in relation to charges laid by Saskatchewan RCMP in January 2026 following an investigation into sexual offences against a teenager.
On May 25, Moosomin RCMP received a request for a welfare check involving a youth at a residence in Maryfield. Officers from Moosomin and Broadview RCMP Detachments responded and determined Peterson, who lived at the residence, was not complying with court ordered conditions. Peterson was arrested.
Residents from Maryfield say the youth at Peterson's house was picked up in Ontario and brought to Maryfield.
Peterson's charges from January 2026 are still before the court. Peterson is scheduled to appear in court in Broadview on June 1 on his latest charges.
